IEMA is the professional body for everyone working in environment and sustainability. A year’s IEMA membership, which commences upon enrolment, is included within Make UK’s training course fee. During the course, you will be a Practitioner Applicant Member and when you successfully complete the course you will be invited to progress your Practitioner Member application (REnvP is an additional cost). Pre-requisites
Learners attending this course are expected to have a foundation level of environmental / sustainability knowledge gained through work experience or a relevant course e.g. the IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent.
How the course is assessed
The assessment for modules 1-3 of this course is through written assignments.
Delegates then need to complete an Assessment of Competence, which must be submitted to IEMA for marking after all other modules have been successfully completed. This is to qualify for Practitioner Membership of IEMA.
