Working Successfully With Trade Unions
In this half day course aimed at Managers and HR Professionals, delegates will learn about the different employment terms, be given a legal and historic background to trade unions and industrial relations and understand the difference between trade union officials and members, including their rights and responsibilities tied in with collective bargaining.
Delegates will learn about the difference between voluntary and statutory recognition and how to apply this in business.
Delegates will dive into more complex relations issues such as ballots, industrial action (including strikes and action short of a strike), as well as the process for conducting negotiations
