Waste Management Training

This one-day Waste Management course is designed to provide learners with essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure that the waste produced on site is managed in accordance with legal requirements, focusing on the duty of care of waste. 

The course includes the fundamentals of waste management including waste classification and segregation, waste minimisation techniques and sustainable practices. 

Of course, the course also covers regulations and compliance requirements surrounding waste management, including segregating waste prior to recovery/recycling.

• Fundamental obligations of duty of care
• What the legislation covers and means in practice
• Using the European Waste Catalogue
• Audit requirements – obligations of duty of care
• How to complete a waste transfer note and consignment note
