Managing the TUPE Process
In this half day course aimed at Senior Managers, People Managers, and HR Professionals, delegates attending this course will learn about the different types of TUPE transfer, the legal requirements and rights of the employee when a TUPE is proposed. Delegates will also learn about due diligence and consultation. This course aims to support those involved in TUPE processes through discussion, studies and activities that embed the learning.
Course content
This half day session will guide delegates through the often complex field of ‘TUPE’, and will include activity and information-based learning as part of the course.

- When does TUPE apply and what rights do employees have under TUPE
- What is due diligence
- How to consult

By completing this course, delegates will be able to:
Understand the different types of TUPE transfer and know how to manage change successfully through a TUPE transfer process. All delegates will receive as part of this training a useful information pack which includes checklists, letters, tables and information about transfers and how to manage them along with a traffic light tool to identify the different types of change / transfer.
