CNC Milling (simulation)
CNC Milling can now use complex programmes to control the machine to produce highly accurate parts in repetitive situations. Often these CNC Programmes are created in a separate department, from supplied drawings and are able to be created and tested prior to being downloaded to a specific machine.
During the course, candidates will cover the following:
- Introduction to CNC simulation software
- Create simple drawings and forms in simulation
- Create machine code from simulation drawings
- Setting machining datums within simulation
- Create and edit complex tasks in simulation
This Course is aimed at employees who are familiar with milling programming and are required to have a more in depth understanding of creating CNC programmes for automated machining.
Whilst there is no formal assessment on this course, delegates will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the principles of CNC Simulation. On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
This 3 day course enables the delegates to develop a better understanding and some skills in the use of simulation software to create the programmes necessary to upload to a machine to manufacture the parts required.
