First National Membership Board meeting

I would like to update you on our 1st National Membership Board (NMB) which took place on the 25th January.
This is an update that covers:
- The overall purpose of the 1st meeting;

The overall purpose of the 1st NMB was to
- Make the distinction between the Corporate Board and the NMB;
- Initiate work on the National and Regional Member driven projects that will shape 2019.
Topics discussed included:
- EEF’s Strategic plan, the National Conference, and Events strategy
- Top 3 issues from each of the Regions, NDI, UK Steel, our Affiliate Partners and our Policy teams. (Please see table below)
Next steps... in the next 6-8 weeks run the next NMB to …
- Confirm the set of National and Regional projects to deliver on in 2019;
- Set up the Regional Membership Boards in line with the current RABs;
- Communicate progress to all our Members.
